"I'm at a fashion party, I'm wearin fashion clothes."

I was in attendance for the fabulous launch party for Kam & Lee designs. What a privilage to be able to mingle in the work space where such beautiful creative thoughts are realized. The design duo of Kamila and Lacey are two bubbly, bright and genuine beauties, I had such a fun time exploring some funky Vancouver fashion.

Kamila, designer for Kam & Lee wears one of her own designs. I loved the play they have with colour and fun shapes like the balloons popping right off this sweet tank.

Have to say I've always been a sucker for ruffles on party dressses and these ladies seem to have spoken to my desires. This wonderfully detailed neckline is something that shows the kind of beauty the girls of Kam & Lee seem to be so skilled at creating.

So my love for men's fashion is growing evermore especially since my brother's own interest has been growing as well. I recently got hold of his latest european treasure while visiting him in Germany, a pair of beautiful leather Hermes shoes. The look, design, feel and smell of these is of a remarkable quality - thank you Hermes for reminding us what real luxury looks like.

Follow the Light

far from finding me in all this mess,

a cozy nest,

an end were the light glows,

a place to call home.

All around the green valley...

An afternoon with Adrian Glynn, in the snow, at the beach, under the lady of the sea.


I have to say I'm a sucker for the suspenders and combat boots and perfectly matched with some cozy mixed layered pieces to cover up in the cold.

There's a deep silence that comes with the snow that seems so peaceful, in the midst of this silence a sweet voice and the sound of an acoustic guitar...

On a pleasant sunny day, down at English Bay, a voice heard from miles away...

Listening to Michael Bernard Fitzgerald singing softly in the warm sun, something surely to be grateful for.

Have to admit I love a flannel, proper baseball cap and a good fitting pair of jeans. Can't forget about the Toms, a good cause is always in fashion.
