There isn't much that I feel I need, A solid soul and the blood I bleed

Some faces from Broken Pencil Magazine's Canzine West: Zine Fair & Festival of Alternative Culture at W2
only a boy named Merlin could pull off cowboy boots with a studded leather jacket

a light vintage dress with some heavier stockings.

perfect poncho and tote combo

why not get your haircut at the Zine fest/ LaFolie vintage sale?
(Especially when the guy doing it for you makes a sweater like this look rad)

loving the wool skirt, her zooey deschanel hair. she even made me reconsider my negative stance towards backpacks.

a teacup candle? why didn't anyone think of this before?

I also picked up some fantastic pieces at the LaFolie vintage sale, including a floor-length hooded poncho and rad military jacket. pics to come. xo

Lets Hear it for the Boys

a post dedicated to some of our favourite fashionable guys in the city of Vancouver.

Now, I can't say I love ironic moustaches, but this guy is clearly so dedicated to his and its perfect curl that it borders on serious swoonage. Ok, and he also happens to be seriously good looking, but that's just an afterthought, right?

Biggie looks sad, maybe he is jealous of this guy's swagger- turquoise blue button-up and bow-tie?

A top hat and some Hello Kitty-inspired style

his shirt says 'MODE' and I cannot disagree

and his shirt says 'HEAT' and I can't disagree.

Sacha has been my fave find in a while; he was lurking through the concourse at Emily Carr with his intriguing avant garde haircut, sweater by the incomparable Alexander Wang, shoes (unfortunately) unknown, but clearly amazing.
May need to hunt him down for more, because this guy has got IT.

At the War Baby show. some wonderful personal style with such attention to the details... every piece on him was vintage and flawlessly brought together.
And yes, he's aware that he looks a lot like Spicoli (Sean Penn, Fast Times at Ridgemont High)

multi-coloured leather loafers, I'm a fan

I loved these accessories as well - especially the pin, really feels as though it inspires the rest of the outfit.

At the W2 party or the Civil War? either way it's hip.

and some wonderful pics of Wavves, The King of the Beach.
